VACANCIES
Infant Teacher/Caregiver (Full-Time)
We are looking for a warm, caring Infant Teacher to join our Catherine’s Cottage Daycare family. In this role, you’ll provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest children can grow, thrive, and feel secure.
What you’ll do:
- Create a loving, home-like atmosphere for infants
- Provide individualized care, including feeding, diapering, and comfort routines
- Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
- Build strong bonds with children and open, trusting relationships with families
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (required)
- A genuine love for infants and a nurturing personality
- Reliability, patience, and the ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team
- Commitment to completing 12 hours of professional development training each year
Toddler Lead Teacher (Full-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Lead Teacher to guide and inspire our curious and energetic little ones. You will create a structured, yet playful classroom that encourages independence, imagination, and growth.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the toddler classroom with engaging routines, songs, and activities
- Foster social-emotional skills such as sharing, communication, and problem-solving
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child
- Communicate openly with families and provide daily updates on progress
What we’re looking for:
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Creativity, energy, and a passion for helping little ones learn through play
- Willingness to complete 12 hours of professional development training each year
Assistant Teacher (30 Hours/Week)
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a real difference in the lives of children.
What you’ll do:
- Assist lead teachers in daily routines and classroom activities
- Provide hands-on support with play, feeding, and care routines
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Support children with kindness, patience, and encouragement
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a family-like atmosphere
What we’re looking for:
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (preferred but not required for assistants; passion and willingness to learn are key)
